For the purchasing decision
Start with an actual charger model and a written battery requirement. Separate changes to the label or packaging from changes to electrical performance. Confirm the exact specification, applicable documentation and sample acceptance criteria before approving a bulk order.
1. Choose a base model before designing the label
A private-label inquiry is easier to evaluate when it names an existing model. Provide the battery chemistry, nominal voltage, battery capacity, intended charging use and destination. A charger for a vehicle starting battery is not automatically suitable for a traction battery, and two chargers with a similar case may have different electrical configurations.
POWER1986 lists actual lead-acid chargers and a separate lithium range. Use the current catalog as the starting point. A request for another voltage, chemistry or function is a requirement for evaluation, not evidence that the requested product already exists.
2. Separate branding requests from technical changes
| Request | Include in the RFQ | Confirm before approval |
|---|---|---|
| Logo and label | Artwork, language, label location and ownership authorization | Approved artwork and the applicable product identification |
| Retail box or carton | Artwork, packing arrangement and required markings | Sample packaging and agreed packing specification |
| Plug, connector or cable | Destination plug, connector photos, dimensions and polarity | Exact parts, cable specification and revised sample when needed |
| Electrical or function change | Required voltage, current rating, battery type and operating duty | Technical feasibility and an agreed model-specific specification |
Do not assume that a packaging option also includes a hardware change. MOQ, cost, sample requirements and lead time depend on the reviewed scope; no single figure applies to every model and customization.
3. Request evidence for your destination and exact revision
State the destination market and the documents your purchasing or compliance team needs. Ask which documents apply to the exact charger revision, plug, label and supplied configuration. A supplier’s general certificate list or a certificate for another model does not establish approval for your order.
Keep the document identity, model designation and revision with your procurement record. If a field is unresolved, write it as an open question. Do not replace a missing report with a certification logo on packaging, or infer certification from a product photograph.
4. Agree on the sample and acceptance record
Define what you will inspect before the sample is sent: model identity, supplied accessories, input and output labels, connector fit and polarity, indication, relevant functions and packaging. Any electrical performance check should use an agreed method and competent personnel; this checklist is not an instruction to open a mains-powered charger.
Record requested changes and their disposition. If the bulk configuration differs from the approved sample, agree how the change will be evaluated. Keep the approved specification, artwork and sample record together, rather than relying on an informal description such as “same as last time”.
5. Send a concise, complete private-label RFQ
- Base model or the battery requirement if no model has been selected.
- Battery chemistry, voltage, capacity and intended use.
- Quantity, destination, sample needs and desired delivery date.
- Required AC plug, DC connection and any cable changes.
- Logo authorization, artwork files, languages and packaging requirements.
- Required documents and the acceptance questions still open.
POWER1986 is operated by Anhui Morhon Technology Co., Ltd. We coordinate supply through independent production partners. Each OEM request is reviewed against the selected model and intended market. A request does not itself establish technical feasibility or a confirmed quotation.
Buyer questions
Can I request a charger outside the catalog?
You can describe the requirement for review. The website does not treat that request as an existing model or a confirmed customization capability.
Does private labeling include market certification?
No automatic certification promise is made. Confirm the documents and obligations for the exact configuration and destination before committing to an order.
